This is a Great "Link's" track located just off I-65 that I've been driving by and had never taken the time to play. But not today!! Sun is shining, temperatures in the upper 40's, winds out of the west 10-15mph with no snow in sight.
This is a Fuzzy Zoeller / Clyde Johnson (Par 72) designed layout, that has the typical flat barren land, bunkered into a beautiful Link's layout. The course was pretty good for early March and you could see that summer conditions would be Idea for this layout. Playing from 5,034yds / 69.2 / 121 to 6,965yds / 74.3 / 130 the five (5) tees will give you whatever adventure you're up to on that day. The course has a nice mix of water, sand traps, forced carries to keep your score honest, but the grassy fairway lined bunkers, were my favorite. These bunkers really add to keeping each hole framed to the view from the tee box even though there are homes scattered about the course.
The Front 9 (3,427yds / Par 36) I felt was the better side, being only two (2) holes had homes and one (1) side-by-side hole set-up and can be walked. Front 9 is mostly "North & South" holes so the Westerly winds will test your ball spin ability. The Back 9 layout (3,538yds / Par 36) is "East & West" and plays around the beautiful home area but they are set back far enough as not to be too intrusive. There are long distances between holes here and walking should be avoided because of travel time. The #13 hole (583yds) is one mean hole, into the wind, dogleg Par 5 that can hold it own on any day. Enjoyed playing a mix of "Black & Blue" tees today and shooting 41/41 w/ 31 putts and paying $28 w/cart for my Senior rate.
This is worth shopping for a quick afternoon outing on a well-kept Link's layout.

I absolutly love this course! I have played this course several times and have enjoyed it more with every visit. New Management has had a great impact on play and the overall friendliness of the staff. Clubhouse is stocked well and bar/food is excellent. I feel very comfortable with the Pro as he is very friendly and helpful (unlike the past). I would recommend this course to anyone who enjoys golf!

Day 77 - 100 days, 100 courses (Wednesday, May 29, 2019)
An illustrious foursome; the GM, Head PGA pro and teaching pro teed off in the rain and ended in the sunshine. We were also joined by a fifth for about 9 holes.
In spite of having 5 players our pace was quick because we all just approached our ball and hit it. No messing around.
These guys knew each other and the course very well. I learned a lot about the business of golf and finished the day being interviewed on the “Those Weekend Golf Guys” radio show. Fun day.
